Christmas Cross Stitching. I could probably leave it at that simple sentence, and you could totally get my vibe! A whole category within the cross stitching community, Christmas cross stitch really is the best of year!
The only downside of Christmas cross stitching is wanting to stitch everything! And I mean EVERYTHING! Sets, clubs, series, oh my! There are so many good charts that it is really difficult to pick which ones to start this season.
I have compiled a list for Christmas cross stitches for your stitching desire this year! I have broken the charts into categories as I know we don’t all have the same taste and styles in cross stitch charts.
Cutie Stitch
Chart: Sleigh Ride
Designer: It’s Sew Emma
Called for Fabric: 32 ct. Lugana, Mint Splash
Size: 91w x 63h
Floss: Classic Color Works
DMC Conversion: Yes

My gosh, how cute is this Santa?! This is a great Christmas cross stitch for something extra cute this year! The colors are perfect against the light blue fabric (I am using 14. Ct aida, Icelandic Blue) and the stitch is the perfect size at roughly 4 x 6 inches. It’s Sew Emma (Fat Quarter Shop) has the pattern and thread packs available which makes this an easy project to put together and must make this Christmas!

The Real Housewives of Cross Stitch basically are pretty much the queens of Christmas cross stitching! Oh and can’t forget about the companion piece from last Christmas – Jingle Bell Cafe!

Classic
Chart: Winter Petites
Designer: Little House Needleworks
Called for Fabric: 14-16 ct. Aida
Size: 39w x 39h
Floss: Classic Color Works
DMC Conversion: Yes

Traditional, classic, and all the right vibes in one piece! This new series from Little House Needleworks is just what you need for your classic Christmas cross stitching! Stitch it as one piece (I am stitching as one) or stitch each of the four motifs individually to place around the home or turn into ornaments for your tree.
For Gifts:
Chart: Cookie Cutter Ornaments
Designer: It’s Sew Emma
Called for Fabric: 25 ct. Lugana, Barley
Size: 28w x 28h
Floss: Classic Color Works
DMC Conversion: Yes

While I do not usually give an entirely homemade gift at Christmas, I do like to make a new ornament for the packages every year. Something cute, something different and something made with fabric scraps! This year, everyone is getting a Christmas Cookie Cutter Ornament. I mean, how could they not?! Look how cute these new little ornaments are from Its Sew Emma! There are 12 patterns included in this book – perfect for all your gifting needs!

A Trio:
Chart: Christmas TypeFace – Santa Claus, Frosty, Rudolph
Designer: It’s Sew Emma
Called for Fabric: 14 ct. Aida, Chalkboard
Size: ~ 120w x 107h
Floss: Classic Color Works
DMC Conversion: Yes

Last on this year’s Christmas cross stitch list is this adorable TypeFace Trio of Santa Claus, Frosty and Rudolph! These 3 characters had my attention the moment they were released as they are super cute, have lots of font (I love stitching font, don’t you?!) and have a thread pack so you don’t have to go digging through the stash! Although that would probably be the most cost effective, sometimes that thread pack is just a bit more convenient! Another fabulous release from Its Sew Emma this Christmas season!
